Parking: on street parking along Noble Dr. or Meadowdale Ave
Cost: free
Age Range: all ages
Ground Cover: wood mulch
Features: wooden playground! Two structures – one for older kids and one for toddlers. The toddler structure has stairs, climbing ladder, steering wheel, telescope, and a wide slide. The bigger structure features a rock wall type thing made out of wood, rope ladder, climbing ladder, traditional monkey bars, wobbly bridge, two slides (both metal slides), a steering wheel, and a telescope. Separately are also a tire swing, hanging monkey bars, 4 big kid swings, and 2 baby swings.
Surrounding Park Area: Lovely area with nice mature trees. Just greenspace, no other amenities. There are a few hanging rocking benches around.
Shade: Lovely shade from nice, big, mature trees.
Seating: benches surrounding
Stroller/Wheelchair Access: There are no paved paths into the playground area, but there are also no steps. So yes, it is accessible.
Safety: It’s wood, so there is always a risk for splinters. Also, the slides are metal – in the summer they are hot, in zero humidity they are fast.
Cons: No bathroom. The playground itself is pretty close to the street. Neither Noble or Meadowdale are busy streets, but if your kid is a wanderer or if you have a ball, you may want to be aware that there is nothing stopping your child from running out in the street.
Overall Assessment: I love this playground. It’s so peaceful. As a mom, I like that all the play equipment is close together. I like that there isn’t too much to do so that my child is overwhelmed. I like that there are benches all around the area where we can sit. I like that if I had a playdate here with other moms, we could sit and chat without too much worry. I like all the shade. I like it all.
